Since the 3rd week of January, there was a remarquable increase in the number of emails sent by pet brands in anticipation of Valentine's Day. During February, Maxbone was the top sender with 27 emails and in terms of advertisements, Petco was the most prolific with 47 new ads, followed by Pets At Home with 43 and Maxbone with 34. These figures indicate a clear effort from these pet brands to capitalize on the Valentine's Day holiday season.

In terms of the number of ads created, Ziggy surpassed all the others by creating 59 ads, whereas in January they had created none. Cat Person, on the other hand, created 48 ads in February, while they had only created 30 in January. This significant increase in the number of ads could be attributed to the higher importance given to marketing efforts in February where we have Valentine’s Day (Feb 14) and National Love Your Pet Day (Feb 20).
