This benchmark analyze the behaviour of 15 Direct-To-Consumers (DTC) brands in the Supplement industry. Our goal is to compare their marketing velocity (how active they are in their digital marketing strategy) and how to they perform vs. each other.

In Mach 2024, Bark Box stands out as the clear leader, with an impressive success score of 82.06%. Its advertising performance is especially strong with a score of 95.87%. Just Food For Dogs is close behind with a success score of 67.06% and notable advertising at 80.54%. Dog is Human also performs well across the board, achieving a 64.11% success rate and solid email and advertising performance. These brands clearly dominate, leading in multiple categories and setting the bar for their competitors.
Brands like Native Pet and The Farmer’s Dog show competitive success, with scores of 52% and 53.41%, respectively. While not as dominant as Bark Box or Just Food For Dogs, they are still performing above average. Their email and ad scores remain strong, especially for Native Pet with an email score of 69.07%. These brands are positioned as key challengers, maintaining solid positions in the market and gaining ground on the leaders.
On the other hand, brands like Dogdrop and Maev are lagging far behind. Dogdrop's success score is only 12%, with weak email and ad performance. Maev fares even worse, with a dismal 10.67% success rate and poor growth and ad metrics. Good Trouble Pets also underperforms with a 14.16% success score, struggling with weak email and ad performance. These brands need significant improvement to keep up with the competition.
