This benchmark analyze the behaviour of 15 Direct-To-Consumers (DTC) brands in the Supplement industry. Our goal is to compare their marketing velocity (how active they are in their digital marketing strategy) and how to they perform vs. each other.

Highlights & Summary

Email Marketing Summary: RTIC Outdoors leads the Outdoor industry with consistent email performance, maintaining a good balance between quantity and quality. Outdoor Voices follows closely, excelling in both email scoring and promotions. Solo Stove and Rumpl show promise but need slight improvements in promotions. Snowpeak, Atmosphere, and ORCA Coolers are struggling with fair email practices, with ORCA Coolers also lacking promotions. Hydro Flask, Veloretti, and Cowboy - EN face challenges, needing enhancements in both email scoring and promotions.

Email Deliverability Summary: Snowpeak struggles with email deliverability, facing challenges in both spam score and email size optimization. ORCA Coolers and Sportsman's Guide need substantial improvements in both aspects. Atmosphere, Roofnest, and Thesus Outdoors require attention in spam score optimization. RTIC Outdoors, Solo Stove, and Cowboy - EN perform well in email deliverability, showcasing good spam scores and effective email size optimization.

Ads Performance Summary: Rumpl dominates the Outdoor industry in ads performance, displaying high ad velocity and diverse copies. Solo Stove and YETI also perform well, showcasing a good balance of ad velocity and unique copies. Veloretti and Outdoor Voices show promise but need improvement in ad diversity. RTIC Outdoors, MODL Outdoors, and Roofnest struggle, requiring enhancements in both ad velocity and diversity.

In conclusion, RTIC Outdoors leads in email marketing, excelling in promotions. Snowpeak faces challenges in both email deliverability and ads performance. Rumpl dominates in ads performance with diverse copies. Solo Stove and Outdoor Voices show promise but need improvements. Cowboy lags behind in both email deliverability and ads performance, requiring substantial enhancements.
