This benchmark analyze the behaviour of 15 Direct-To-Consumers (DTC) brands in the Supplement industry. Our goal is to compare their marketing velocity (how active they are in their digital marketing strategy) and how to they perform vs. each other.

Email Marketing Performance: YETI leads in email marketing with 19 emails sent, followed by Rumpl with 17, and RTIC Outdoors with 16. These brands not only sent the most emails but also had high promotional engagement, making them top performers. Solo Stove, Outdoor Voices, and Hydro Flask showed good activity with 15, 14, and 12 emails respectively but need better promotional engagement. Brands like Snowpeak, Cowboy, and ORCA Coolers need to increase their email output to compete effectively. Veloretti and Sportsman's Guide lag significantly behind with minimal or no email activity.
Email Deliverability and Spam Scores: Atmosphere and RTIC Outdoors stand out with excellent spam scores of -4.44 and -2.82, respectively, and optimal email sizes. Roofnest and Cowboy also performed well in terms of spam scores but need to manage email size better. Solo Stove and YETI showed good deliverability but did not provide specific spam scores. On the other hand, Snowpeak and ORCA Coolers had poor spam scores close to 0, indicating potential issues in deliverability. Brands like Hydro Flask, MODL Outdoors, and Thesus Outdoors need to improve both their spam scores and email sizes.
Advertising Impact and Diversity: YETI excels with 69 new ads, showing a high level of activity and diversity. Rumpl and RTIC Outdoors follow closely with 59 and 57 ads, respectively. Solo Stove and Veloretti also performed well with 52 and 47 ads. Snowpeak showed good performance with 34 ads, while Hydro Flask and Thesus Outdoors need to boost their ad volume. Brands like Roofnest, Cowboy, and ORCA Coolers had minimal ad activity, indicating a need for more strategic ad campaigns. Outdoor Voices did not launch any new ads, placing them at the bottom in advertising efforts.
