This benchmark analyze the behaviour of 15 Direct-To-Consumers (DTC) brands in the Supplement industry. Our goal is to compare their marketing velocity (how active they are in their digital marketing strategy) and how to they perform vs. each other.

Email Marketing Performance: Kuiu leads with 34 emails, showing high activity but poor promotional engagement. Short Par 4 follows with 18 emails and strong promotional strategies. Columbia Sportswear and Sport Chek also stand out, each with 18 and 15 emails, but Columbia needs to boost engagement. Brands like Bad Birdie, Malbon Golf, and Musto are moderately active. Mountain Hardwear is promising with 14 emails but needs to improve promotional content. Brands such as Berghaus, Janji, and ciele need to increase their email marketing efforts significantly.
Email Deliverability and Spam Scores: Columbia Sportswear excels in deliverability with a spam score of -10.37 and compact email size, making it the top performer. Sport Chek and Musto follow with strong deliverability scores of -4.43 and -3.85, respectively. Malbon Golf and Short Par 4 show good performance but need better spam scores. Kuiu, despite high activity, has poor deliverability with a score of -1.33. Bad Birdie, Janji, and Mountain Hardwear need to improve their spam scores and email sizes. FootJoy and Ten Thousand show fair scores but have room for improvement.
Advertising Impact and Diversity: SAYSKY and Ten Thousand are leaders in advertising with 59 new ads each, showing high activity and diversity. Malbon Golf and FootJoy follow closely with 53 and 50 ads, respectively. TREW also performs well with 27 ads but needs more unique copies. Kuiu and Short Par 4 show moderate ad activity. Columbia Sportswear, Bad Birdie, and Berghaus need to increase both ad volume and diversity. Brands like Janji, Musto, and ciele show minimal ad activity, indicating a need for significant strategic improvements in their advertising efforts.
