This benchmark analyze the behaviour of 15 Direct-To-Consumers (DTC) brands in the Supplement industry. Our goal is to compare their marketing velocity (how active they are in their digital marketing strategy) and how to they perform vs. each other.

Email Marketing Performance: Peloton and Hydrow lead in email marketing with 17 emails each, showing strong activity. Hydrow excels with high promotional engagement, unlike Peloton. Echelon and Ergatta follow with 16 and 11 emails, respectively. Oru Kayak also shows decent activity with 10 emails. Brands like Joovv and Tempo Fit sent fewer emails and need to improve engagement. FightCamp, Tonal, and Supersapiens are at the bottom with minimal email activity. Crossnet, Wahoo Fitness, Clmbr, Quell, and Therabody did not send any emails, indicating significant room for improvement.
Email Deliverability and Spam Scores: Hydrow and Joovv excel in deliverability with spam scores of -3.03 and -3.0, respectively, and compact email sizes. Peloton also performs well with a score of -5.1 but has large email sizes that need addressing. Oru Kayak and Echelon show fair spam scores but need to improve email sizes. Brands like Supersapiens and FightCamp need significant improvements in both spam scores and email sizes. Tonal shows poor spam scores but manages good email size. Ergatta and Therabody require better email deliverability strategies to enhance performance.
Advertising Impact and Diversity: Therabody dominates advertising with 70 new ads and 41 unique copies, showing high activity and diversity. Hydrow follows closely with 64 new ads but needs better copy diversity. Tempo Fit and Peloton also show strong ad activity with 58 and 55 new ads, respectively. Wahoo Fitness shows good ad activity but needs more unique copies. Brands like Ergatta, Echelon, and FightCamp need to increase both ad volume and diversity. Oru Kayak, Quell, and Tonal show minimal ad activity and need significant improvements. Crossnet, Clmbr, Supersapiens, and Joovv did not engage in advertising, indicating a need for strategic enhancements.
