Email Marketing Summary: Hungryroot, Purple Carrot, and Home Chef lead the food and meals industry in email marketing. These brands consistently send a significant number of emails with good scores, especially Hungryroot. Daily Harvest, Allplants, and Blue Apron follow closely, maintaining a balance between email sending and scoring. Sunbasket, Tovala, and Splendid Spoon exhibit potential but need enhancements, particularly in scoring and promotions. Pasta Evangelists, Green Chef, Wegmans, PlateJoy, Hello Fresh, and Thistle lag behind, struggling in various aspects and requiring strategic improvements.
Email Deliverability Summary: Blue Apron excels in email deliverability, combining a strong spam score with optimal email size. Daily Harvest and Tovala show promise but need improvements, especially in email size. Purple Carrot faces challenges in both aspects and requires strategic enhancements. Ads Performance Summary: Daily Harvest dominates the food and meals industry in ads performance, showcasing both velocity and diversity. Allplants and Thistle follow closely, displaying a high number of new ads and diverse copies. Tovala and Green Chef maintain strong ad performances, combining both velocity and unique copies. Blue Apron, Wegmans, and Home Chef exhibit potential but need improvements, particularly in ad velocity. Sunbasket, Pasta Evangelists, Purple Carrot, and Hello Fresh struggle with both aspects and require strategic enhancements. Splendid Spoon, Allplants, Hungryroot, and PlateJoy lag behind and need to enhance their ads strategies for better overall performance.
In this table, we benchmark how many emails brands have send and their average email scores, which we calculate using over 50 datapoints that measure how much best practices are ensured (spam score, email authenticiation & certificates, email size, subject line lenght, word & links count etc.)
